Klauenprofi

The app Klauenprofi enables LKV member companies in Austria to document the hoof care of their cattle quickly and easily and to record further information about the animals.

Important functions:

• Current animal population

• Fast recording of the hoof care carried out

• Possibility of recording appointments, notes and other parameters: BCS, lameness scoring (or locomotion scoring according to Sprecher et al. 1977) and interclaw angle or claw position score

• Notifications when appointments are due

• Record of hoof trimming and other observations

• simple graphical evaluations of hoof health

• Reference book with pictures of the hoof findings and explanations of the other recording options

• Acquisition also possible without an internet connection

Through the connection to the cattle data network (RDV), your entire animal population is available to you at any time, updated on a daily basis. Various sorting and filtering options enable you to work quickly and efficiently. After completing the documentation, you will find the recorded hoof findings and other parameters in a clear log. The app makes it easier for you to analyze the documentation with the help of clear graphics. In order not to overlook a follow-up inspection or bandage acceptance, you can save notes and appointments for the animals, which they are reminded of by means of notifications. After the animal population has been called up, the recording can also take place without an active internet connection. An internet connection is only required after the acquisition is complete in order to load the data into the RDV. The app also offers an ICAR-compatible reference work with images of all hoof findings.

With the Klauenprofi app, you always have a practical tool for modern herd management with you in your pocket!

You log in using your user name and password from the RDV portal, which you are used to from using the LKV herd manager or the RDV mobile app. A login using an AMA pin is not possible!
